TONATIUH™ stands for "sun" in the native language of the Aztecs, Nauhtl. Named after her son, designer Heather Lindquist created a collection based on comfort that is designed for one of her favorite things to do, traveling. Her designs are inspired by her travels to far away places.  She worked in photography for many years and her line was born in 2010 prior to the birth of her son.

She makes her pieces here in the US as a part of the slow fashion movement.  She has shown on runway in Tucson Fashion Week in 2013 with Project Runway contestant Bert Keeter and did a zen presentation at TFW in 2014. That collection has limited prints and the color palette was created from a series of photographs taken on her trip to New Zealand.

We sell our collections online here and on Etsy. We closed our brick and mortar to focus solely on online retailing. Our pieces may be a little more expensive, however, they are made to last and are karma friendly (meaning not made in a sweatshop somewhere)
